Description
  • Stream Name: Little Sandy River
  • Rivermiles: from 0.0 to 1.7
  • Ownership: USFS, PGE

Reach Information:

This reach is entirely in a restricted-access portion of the Bull Run Watershed, and ends at the site of the Little Sandy Dam. It has been influenced by flows from both the PGE Bull Run Hydroelectric project since 1906. Flows, which have been restricted by PGE's Little Sandy Dam, will return to a natural state after the removal of the dam in 2008. Large wood was placed by helicopter into this reach in 2007.
